Had an average weekday staycay in a Fabulous Room (King bed, Pool View with Balcony). Area was pretty chill-at-your-own-means until evening time (when most restaurants open for business). PMDs were also roaming freely here (guess the escooter ban is for mainland only?), so bring your PMDs here to run free legally (hotel should be able to confirm for you).

Pros
- Rather spacious room layout, plenty of clothes hangers, nice Bose stereo speaker setup, multi-adapter charger beside bed ie Android / iPhone / MicroUSB, funky room lighting features, balcony opens out to views of marina and yachts.
- Separate shower has rain shower feature / handheld showerhead (good water temp / pressure control), cute Davines bath amenities
- Ala carte buffet breakfast (8.15am / 10am slot), staff were the nicest here
- Whatever / Whenever service button via the phone very responsive
- Open concept Bathtub
- No lack of complimentary water in-room (we counted 8 bottles), given the recent hot weather.

Cons
- Water seeps out from under shower room (had to use 2 towels + floor mat to dam the flood waters)
- No pool slippers provided ie bring your own
- Tardy service at check-in, we were the only guests in line, but none of the 3 staff across 2 counters seem interested to acknowledge our presence / attend to us, i had to initiate eye contact / gestured to find out which counter will be kind enough to "process us".. Irked? Super.. (but Whatever). We were finally called to the empty counter, farthest away from queue, when the counter directly in front of us was available (but just not doing check-in somehow)... duh!
- There was F&B discount for on-site restaurants for Bonvoy members (but we found out only during check-out time), would have thought such offers would have been a natural plug by the hotel
- Mobile access key doesn't work (tried to test at check-in, was told not available in SGP yet). So i guess Bonvoy app / emailer was geographically 'confused' then.
- Very odd giant floor to ceiling mirror right beside the balcony door, so if you are sleeping on side closer to balcony, it can feel quite 'intimidating at night'

Recommend
- In-room pillow menu (try the uncommon buckwheat pillow)
- PressReader app carries a good selection of in'tl e-mags / newspapers (downloaded with W compliments - again, we 'self-discovered' in room).
- small Jason's marketplace (3min walk) / larger Cold Storage (8min walk) in case you need snacks / beverages
- Chill at pool side (2 hour slots, go for 5 - 7pm period), although music tad too loud when we were there. 1 water slide avail (seems adult ok, but only saw kids going at it).
- Free Sentosa Bus B, from Beach Station to W Hotel entrance (multiple stops, 20min air con ride), although hotel concierge did mention another W shuttle (loop svc) to / from Beach Station as well (10 - 15min freq, direct).

Will we be back? Not likely, but peeps looking for really nothing to do in no frills setting, go for it!
