My family got our first puppy at this shelter in 2008. My fiance and I are now in search of our own furry friend and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. The employees and the volunteers at this shelter take very good care of the dogs and you are able to meet them in an outdoor setting so that you know their temperament and how they play outdoors. The application cost and adoption fees are very reasonable and every dog is spade/neutered in an effort to control over population. Although you may not get the first dog you fall in love with, there are plenty that come in every week waiting for a new home, so it is easy to find the right dog for you.
