My favorite hometown newspaper published by Roosevelt Wright,Jr. I normally purchase a copy at Walmart or Tiger Mart off Forsythe. An annual subscription is $35 for this weekly paper. I really appreciate the fact that they now have an app. If you re looking for what s going on within the black community and our stories for the Monroe area then this paper has it. They allow the opportunity for individuals to purchase ad space for birthday, Anniversary or memorial announcements. $15 for birthday s and $25 for anniversaries.
