Our AC broke down on a Friday and we called Genz-Ryan at 6 PM, the customer service contact (Mary I believe) was very apologetic (it was going to be in the upper 80's and humid that weekend) and said they would work to get someone to our house Saturday, but that might not be possible, but Monday for sure we'd have someone at the house. They called 2 - 3 times Saturday to keep us updated on the Technician (Tyler's) progress and to make sure we knew someone would be coming. Each time I talked to (Jocelyn - I believe) she was very friendly and helpful and encouraging. Tyler arrived at 2:15 and was super friendly (wearing mask, gloves, booties) while maintaining social distancing. He was very thorough, explaining what he was doing, what he was looking for and allowing me to be nosy as I like to learn about how things work in our house. After he was done inside he went out (again it was hot as can be) but he remained very positive and explained everything. After diagnosing the problem he explained the costs without upselling us and gave us realistic options to resolve the issue that day as well as what the long term solution would be. He gave some recommendations about how to keep all our appliances healthy long term without being pushy about it. Overall, it was a great experience and we're thankful to have a fully functioning, more efficient cooling system that hopefully will save us on our energy bills thanks to his recommendations. Genz-Ryan and their technicians and customer service team were the epitomy of under promising and over delivering.
