I visited the LACMA on a Monday so there weren't many crowds. The grounds are very pretty with sculptures and gardens around and the tar pits near by. The art is spread among five buildings and this was a little confusing as it was my first visit and I wasn't really given instruction on where to go. The staff were helpful though and the exhibits seemed well thought out. I would recommend if you are looking for an art museum in LA.
