We booked the 5 p.m. ghost tour in Destin through Tripshock, expecting a thrilling experience, but it was a letdown. The weather was sweltering, making the two-hour walk quite exhausting. While our guide was polite, she had a very monotone voice, which made it hard to hear her over the ambient noise and struggle to stay awake. Her storytelling lacked energy, especially compared to other ghost tour operators we passed on the way, who seemed much more engaging and captivating. Given the heat and the dull presentation, it felt like a waste of both time and money. We probably won’t be choosing this specific tour again.
