Yelp will allow anyone to say nearly anything about a business without regard to being factual or slanderous.

I spoke with someone at Yelp today about a slanderous review recently posted about one of my my businesses. The representative stated that as long as the wording met their guidelines it doesn't matter if the information is truthful. I suggested that Yelp contact the dissatisfied customer to request rewording his review. He said it wasn't possible.

I've been in business for nearly forty successful years. There is a reason for that.
Why is this client's one star rating not offset by my detailed commentary. Obviously, Yelp reviews are weighted toward the consumer and not the business.

Yelp continues to solicit my business. I tried advertising with them once. They burned through my budget in an amazing short period of time. In my opinion, if any business is a scam, this is one.

There is no way that I would consider doing business with them again!
