We purchased a 2009 BMW X5 through Tim Dahle Nissa...

We purchased a 2009 BMW X5 through Tim Dahle Nissan Southtown and worked with Dakota. We didn t do financing, we paid cash, and did not purchase an extended warranty. The day after we purchase our vehicle the service light came on, and the car wouldn t start without trying multiple times. Since this first day of owning the car and many days later, I ve found that it doesn t have issues starting when it s warm out. Early morning is when the issue arises. I ve called and left a message for Mark (the general manager) who forward me on to an assistant manager Ernie said becuase we didn t purchase a warranty there is nothing they can do. I asked if he would have Mark call me back, and Ernie said that Mark would just tell him to have himself (Ernie) called back.
After making a large purchase from a well known car dealership, I would expect high class customer service, someone to hear me out and offer for me to bring the car in and have them look at it free of charge (at the least). One reason we chose to purchase through Tim Dahle Nissan Southtown was we assumed the car would have been serviced correctly and if there were any issues, they would have been shared with us.
I understand there are mistakes on our end we made (not purchasing the extended warranty, not doing our due diligence and taking the car somewhere else to verify there were no issues), however this is not something I thought I needed to do, again my fault.
I do not recommend purchasing from Tim Dahle Nissan Southtown. I have purchase a Lexus from Larry H Miller, was very taken care of and never had any issues. If you haven t look there and still have time before purchasing through Tim Dahle, I d recommend looking for an honest car dealership first before choosing Tim Dahle Nissan Southtown.
