Hour 5.5 waiting on a transport to Nashville becau...

Hour 5.5 waiting on a transport to Nashville because my mom has obviously had a stroke and possibly a heart attack. No treatment during this time is detrimental to her recovery. It was my decision to come here this morning at 730 am but when the doctor stated we needed to go to a stroke center at 920 am and was sending her to Nashville her treatment stopped. The nurses here are stretched past possible point of proper care. I was the one that took her to the restroom and rehooked up the heart monitor and oxygen sensor. As a non- medical person it's a good thing I paid attention when the people hooked her up. It is not my intention to get any one in trouble but when care is no longer proper it is time for investigation and review by medical personnel that can make a difference in the ability of this place to be called an emergency room.
