I work in the service industry myself and I can rightly say I've never given someone a bad review because I understand sometimes the night is long but in Bern's case they have absolutely no excuse for the terrible way my boyfriend and I were treated on our two year anniversary. We've both have had dreadlocks for many years and are also heavily tattooed which I see as no reason to treat someone differently. As we entered the building with a reservation the hostess rolled her eyes at us and actually asked the manager next to her if she should seat us? The manager or whoever the overweight man in charge was actually looked at us rolled his eyes and scoffed at me in the nicest outfit I owned as he told the hostess to go ahead and seat us. Already feeling extremely put down and upset we proceeded to eat because we wanted to make the best of our night. Now I would have skipped this review if the same man who scoffed at me didn't gather his fellow employees around to stare at us from the hallway and point at me during my dinner but he did. So I'm letting you know as a sincere person in this world that you should not go to burns to celebrate any occasion of you look like anyone other than a middle aged republican. To all the hippies out there trying to enjoy a nice time skip berns steakhouse because they won't treat you any better than the rodents next to the trash cans outside. Oh yea and I decided before this review that I would report this incident to the publications manager and please ask for a refund for my $300 anniversary dinner that was ruined but after no reply I decided this was the only fair thing to do. I'm letting the public know EVERYONE at Berns broke my heart that night and I will make sure to tell all my friends that this establishment is by far the worst restaurant I have set foot in since taco bus. At least taco bus didn't make me feel so low that I cried
