I recieved a $25 gift card to this place and I was looking forward to taking my boyfriend out to a wonderful meal. It was a little more expensive than I anticipated but I was willing to splurge a bit and give a good tip. We ordered the Ahi, Jidori Chicken, and a side of mash potatoes all to share. As soon as we brought up that we had a gift card the waitress immediately treated us differently. She said that the gift card was two years old and probably expired so she'd check for us. We waited another 15 minutes for an answer until eventually she came by to fill our water, and I asked her and she told me it worked.

OK, so after another long wait our chicken and mashed potatoes come. They were delicious! (probably not $30-60 per dish delicious, but definitely very tasty.) We asked the server where our Ahi was and he said it wasn't on the ticket. So eventually the waitress comes back by and says something along the lines of, "So I checked with my guy, and the Ahi wasn't on the ticket. You didn't order it, I think you were preoccupied with figuring out your gift card."

How incredibly rude. It's OK if she made a mistake and didn't hear or forgot to write it down but instead she blamed us for forgetting, and didn't apologize for it. (so no Ahi for us.) But we had room for cheesecake and that was also incredibly delicious so ah well.

Our waitress would also constantly skip over our table while checking in on everyone else around us. I guess she thought we might tip less because we were young and using a gift card. We tipped a bit less than we would have because she was rude and slow, but still 15% because we are not inherently less just because we are young and not rich (which seemed to be the assumption.)

Definitely not going back.
