Tri Le Review of Eddys Toyota

The WORSE service thus far. I've came here several times and every time my information isn't either updated or corrected like they said it would. But that is another story. It's little compared to their service practices. I brought my car in for a 'check engine light' diagnostic hopeing they will tell me exactly what is causing my check engine light to come on. I told them prior to scheduling the service that I had replaced the o2 sensor because that was one of the error codes according to the devices that is typically used to test it or what not. I had it replaced but my check engine light still came back on. That is why I took it Toyota to have them check it and actually diagnose the problem and tell what exactly is the reason why my check engine light is still on. But what I got back was the same story. The o2 sensor may be bad. But what made me more upset is that they didn't actually test the sensor itself to see if it was faulty or bad or if it was something connected that's causing it to spit out that error code. If I wanted a "maybe this" is what's causing the issue I would not have taken it there in the first place and spend $100 for no good reason. They said it was a universal part that I replaced it with and that it may not have been conpatiable compared to a Toyota part. If that was the case I didn't need the so called "check engine light diagnostic" to begin with! I needed someone to actually TEST it and PINPOINT the real problem. My believe is they went off of whatever error codes from the devices that they used. That doesn't do me any good. Poor Service. False Advertisement. Why do I belive this? Because to make it worse, after the completion their so called "multi point inspection"...they recommeded that I have a transmission service done as well as change out sparks plugs. Here's the funny thing. I had the sparks plugs changed and transmission flush done just a few days ago! When asked to speak to the Service Manager, his excuse was "we recommend services" based on mileage and that they "don't pull out spark plugs or check the dip stick" to see whether or not it was good. He boil it down to the fact the it was a "free service"...and "don't have time". That has got to be the most dishonest and BS for someone in his position as well as Toyota. I told them, if you're recommended services that is not needed and not inspected then it's the same as being dishonest and selling false servces that is not needed. What's worse? Under the recommended services, in red ink, it says "needs immediate attention". Toyota service here, basically just want to sell you services and not looking out forbyour best interest, period. Please DO NOT and NEVER suggests any services if YOU AREN'T going to CHECK/INSPECT if the services is really needed. If you had check, you would have known it was not needed. You should advertise, instead: "RECOMMENDED SERVICES BASED ON MILEAGE AND NOT ACTUAL CHECK OR INSPECTION" instead. I will never take any of my cars there ever again. Period. Now will I ever recommended this dishonest place. Poor Service.
