This museum consisted of several buildings, each building with different exhibits, you may spend a whole day still only can not see all the buildings.
There are restaurants on site. Farmers Market and Grove and Whole Foods Market on 3rd St. and Fairfax Ave. at northwest of the site. Many restaurants on Fairfax Ave. at west of the site. Along Olympic Blvd., go east there are Korean and other restaurants.
Next to the museum, La Brea Tar Pits & Museum and Petersen Automotive Museum close by. Pavilion for Japaneses Art is part of the Art Museum, don't miss it.
