Recently we decided to replace our 40 plus year old slate roof. We knew that it was going to be a nightmare from pricing a replacement to an absolute disaster to our homes beautiful landscaping. As we looked online for a contractor and watched Phil Dibello's videos on their website we quickly knew they were a firm we wanted to have in for an estimate. Their pricing was compatible with all the legitimate well established firms we spoke to. I think it was their clear knowledge and demonstrated expertise with all types of roofs and our 90 year home s structure was clearly a step above some of the other contractors we interviewed. Speaking to an actual roofer and not a sales guy was clear an advantage as well.

We could not have been more pleased with our decision. The price never went up during construction as most of our neighbors who had this done by other firms did. In fact, it actually came down a bit in the end. Chris our estimator said they like to estimate a little higher to be on the safe side instead of low balling to get the sale then asking for more money after the project was complete. Kudos to the Dibello team on that one. I can t remember too many times when a contractor has stayed true to their quotes these days.

Another hug plus was the actual clean up. As Dibello removed the old slate it was basically just falling apart and creating a huge mess. Their team spent about a quarter of their total time on clean up making sure our yard was spotless. Even after the project was completed a day later a supervisor came with a few hands just to double check the quality of work and clean up any remains that were possibly missed. We didn t even call or suggest this they simply came out and did it on their own.

If you are ready for a new roof please do yourself a favor and make sure you have Dibello come out and give you an estimate. I don t think you will be displeased with the cost or the quality of the Job they do. Being in a tight knit neighborly community of older but beautiful homes we all talk about our contractors. When I mentioned the work Phil Dibello did on our roof not to many others who had theirs done had the same things to say about their roof contractors. My sincere thanks to the Dibello team for clearly being a top notch honest roofer.
