We booked on Expedia for a very affordable price. The hotel is in a central location, walking distance to many restaurants and theaters. Also to minute walk to Arlington Metro station and Boston Common. We arrived to the hotel at 9am and was given a room right away (though check-in begins at 3pm).

After being in the room for a half hour we realized the room was not getting warm even though the heat setting was at it's highest. We called for maintenance who suggested we give it a bit more time to kick in. We left for about three hours and to our dismay when we returned the room was still very cold. The maintenance gentleman tried a few things before finally just bringing us a space heater which we used for the duration of our two night trip.

My only true complaint about the hotel is the closing of room doors, which when you are inside your room it sounds as though someone is forcefully slamming doors outside.

The hotel itself is very beautiful, spacious and accommodating. Great modern decor and friendly staff. There is a little shop downstairs where you can buy snacks, toiletries etc. Aside from the connected restaurant (Strip) there is a cafe like area in the lobby with a full bar where you can get drinks including coffee and tea and light fare.

Aside from the cold room situation I would stay here again.
