As allways the animals.did not dissapoint however the camps and facilities around did. For an international destination standards in the park have dropped in the last 2 years. In some of the camps the showers had only cold water, we stayed in the Nyati guest house and had no hot water in 2 of the units room 3 & 4. Airconditioners also out dated tripping the power and the decore is old and tacky. Drain in the shower blocked, Not worth the prices charged to stay there its a ripp off. Resturants also very average in the park, no gluten free options and vegiterian options not specified at all of the Ndlovou resturants and their menues are very odd. Some of the resturants need serious attention. See my review on Letaba. Mug & Bean at Lower Sabie is about the only decent resturant in the park. The food there is good. Laundry facilities are a joke in Satara and also Skukuza only 1 washing machine in working order for the whole camp. Machines are very old and worn. Staff in general are friendly and helpfull however the camps need upgrades and maintanance to public restrooms very tacky and smelly. All in all for the prices charged for the facilites its not value for money, Kruger Park needs to do serious upgrades and improve their standards for an international venue.
