Went for the first date of the BTS concert! The venue and staff were very unprepared which is surprising seeing as how often they sell out, why was this so unorganised? The facilities within the O2 are great, large range of food areas of different styles and cultures. Depending on the musicians playing a bar (I can't remember the name of) plays their music on very (very) loud bass heavy speakers which was crazy but very fun. The space is great, I just think regarding sold out shows, they need to stick to their word otherwise it can sour the experience for some. Honestly, looking at the other reviews on here the feeling is unanimous. I almost fainted halfway through the show, the water station was very hidden and not shown, dozens of other people were trying to get out of standing before and during the show because they were going to faint or had fainted from the sheer heat and dehydration. I thought my experiences were the worst but the VIPs, yes, the VIPs were told that they couldn't leave the actual venue hall at all after they had seen soundcheck which was 4/5 hours before the show started? And they were not allowed to sit down! What were any of the staff thinking I do not know. I could write a damn thesis on how absolutely atrocious the planning and safety measures were for this show but I don't have the character limit. Let's just say I hope BTS choose to perform somewhere else next time because I don't want their name to be tarnished by the horrific service O2 provided. (Also adding that there were no security searches until 9 hours in, just before we went into the venue. They didn't even scan or search mine or anyone else's bags, just a body metal detector. There had been many threats made against members so the lack of safety check were bizzare.) Hope to see the boys again next year, just hopefully not at the O2. (Wembley here we come)
