The worst ever combination of experiences. From leaking toilet taps (which went unrepaired twice), to flickering room lights, broken phones, massive delays in meal deliveries in ground floor cafe lounge to no toilet rolls in lounge toilets and the worst ever GM (Mr. Findlay should probably be sent back to his european sojourns as he cannot hope to understand or deliver the genuine 'Pinoy' sensitivity to guests...his words were mere words of the English language with not an iota of action or feeling... in my history of travelling to Shangrilas around the world, I never had such a bad stay and would never return to makati shangrila. It was an easy target of jokes with multiple C level execs in my 6 meetings in the top manila corporations in my 5 night stay . The only redeeming event was at departing time when the executive club manager was able to demonstrate some level of kindness in insisting of taking the hotel car as I was getting delayed.
