Beautiful example of what happens when there is no competition in a market.

The incompetence is astounding. They shut off my water (with no notice) after they input my email incorrectly and tried to make me pay a fee to get it turned back on. Had to make them listen to their call logs where I clearly spelled out my email before they reversed the charge. I unsigned up from "smartbill" to avoid future problems with this. Still, when I called they recognized my account by the phone number and address I gave. WHY WOULDN'T YOU CALL ME BEFORE SHUTTING OFF MY WATER? They made literally no effort to reach out and resolve the issue before shutting off water. I hadn't made a payment because you didn't send me any bills.

It's impossible to pay with credit without a fee. I don't want them to have access to my account for auto draft, so I have to mail in a check whenever they decide to send me my bill.

If I had any option other than collecting rain water, there is no way I could possibly recommend using their service. Sadly, I have no choice.
