I went to this facility two times in emergency cases. I am a retired disabled veteran that suffers from 36% burns,TBI, Inhalation damage, high percentage loss of my lungs, first time I went in I was sent home with what they said was a viral infection That same day I went to New Braunfels and found out I had phenomena and was admitted in their hospital. Second and last time I went to Guadalupe regional They thought I had he eternal bleeding and wanted to keep an NG tube in me for three days they immediately jump to these conclusions without an x-ray, Sonogram or c-scan! I did not feel this was right I left and went to BAMC Which they did all the testing and found it was an ulcer. I guess you do not have to be highly educated or trained for that matter to work at this hospital. My life means much more at least to myself if not to them I will never return to this hospital.
