My air conditioning was not working in my car. Called Bob Utter Service to schedule an appointment to fix the problem.. dropped it off at 9am, did not hear a word back, they called the next day and said will have to order a part to fix the a/c. They did not tell me it would take 2 days to fix the problem. I was without a vehicle. Picked up my escape, and said they would call for me to schedule an appointment when the part came in.
Fast forward to the next week.. Friday came, I called and was on hold 3 different times. Finally got someone to answer and they said the guy I was working with had taken a half day Friday and also the part came in earlier in the week. I was not informed.
Then I scheduled an appointment to leave my car to fix the a/c problem the next Tuesday morning. Dropped my car off before 8 AM.
The guy I was working with still was not sure why I was dropping off my car. I got no word on how long it would take to fix assuming 1 day since the part was in.. called them Tuesday around 3 and said i would need to leave my car again overnight til Thursday.. After scheduling an appointment. And not having a spare car to offer me to drive Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. We were never advised this repair would take 3 days, especially when the part was in. Lack of communication.
So 2 weeks to fix my car with no phone calls to inform me when parts came in, how long it would take to fix etc.... not sure if it s because my car was in warranty or just how long they usually take to fix and not inform customers ????
