Amazing zoo with lions, snow leopards, elephants, giraffes, etc. It's small, so you won't see a lot of variety, but it's a great place to take the kids. For parents wanting to entertain their kids and still do something adult, they also serve beer and wine which is nice for the many sunny days in Santa Barbara.
