I was a little apprehensive about keeping my reservation after reading all of the reviews. I must say the front desk staff, housekeeping and bell hops were extremely friendly and provided exceptional customer service. There was a older gentleman that worked in the main lobby sweeping and vacuuming sand all day to keep the front entrance clean. He was always very pleasant and I watched him assisted guest with there bags several times. Housekeeping was very friendly but appeared to be overworked, they always kept a smile on there face despite July heat. Our room was clean and had been renovated. I pulled up the mattress to find a new mattress cover and no bugs. The hotel had convenient beach access and we enjoyed the drinks and DJ at the pool. The elevators were hell, it was hot in the hallway but the AC in our room worked great and kept us cool. Overall we had a great time, this hotel could use some updating especially in the hallways however there are so many people staying at the resort in all honesty it s hard for the staff to keep up but they were doing a great job trying. I must mention that we had a great time at the kids pool and putt putt across the street, the older lady that was the attendant in the putt putt area was a delight!
