First off, they freak out over EVERY little thing....

First off, they freak out over EVERY little thing. You cannot even use your freedom of speech without raising red flags. I was there for ONLY 3 days before they decided to search my body, and my locker for a gun. The reason is some waste of skin decided it was funny spreading rumours that I was going to shoot up the school-they came to realize it was not true.
Then as irony would have it, kids are out in the smoking gazebo stomping on balloons and pretending they're shooting each other. Mind you in that area it sounds almost like a .45 going off, instead of looking into that they looked at me over a RUMOR.
And like a week and a half later they searched me AGAIN, because I was talking to my counselor about my problems and she spread the word amongst the staff and they thought I'd be a harm to others. Again, they found absolutely nothing. One was stupid enough to open my guitar case, seeing the tablatures that I have and asked "what is this?" I told him it was a freaking set of tablatures. For crying out loud. And before they sent me to a Asylum they said they were going to put locked doors on the bathrooms...that is just stupid, no matter how you look at it.
Why did I go to the asylum you ask? I was talking to the counselor about my ex-fiance and she misheard me when I said I wanted to kill my feelings for her, and therefore for whatever reason thought I had said I wanted to harm her-which wasn't true. When I got to the asylum every SINGLE nurse had stated I don't even meet the criteria to stay there. Consequently they made me go see a therapist-and then he said "We're just sitting here twidling our thumbs and driving each other crazy. Clearly you have no need for therapy." And my doctor, on the first visit, voided the need to attend 5 therapy visits and said I was to return with no restrictions. So not only can you not use your freedom of speech, but you can't trust a confidential conversation between you and your counselor who is supposed to be there to HELP YOU. So they made me look like such a horrible evil person over misguided information. You know it's bad when everyone says you're perfectly fine. When they sent me on the medical leave for the asylum they sent everything back EXCEPT my guitar and to this day they still have it. Other than that I'm still in the program and I'm not going to give up because I am bound and determined to change my life, no matter what tribulations come my way. I just wish they were smarter, comprehend what you say fully, and just plain had common sense. Locks on the men's bathrooms? So what? We defecate on the hall floors instead? Do we need to bring buckets and bottles in our dorms? What the heck man.
