So me and two friends signed up for the free 7 day...

So me and two friends signed up for the free 7 day pass. Super excited to try it because it s close to work and we can all go together. We were hoping it wouldn t be too expensive. Did the first class, LOVED IT! The energy, the encouragement, the laughs, everyone was super friendly, the workout itself was hard but felt good. Then came the sales pitch. Now we new full well that this was going to be part of the free pass, but we weren t expecting it to be so aggressive. When we saw it would be over $100/month to join we wanted to take a moment to think about it, to check finances etc. We were made to feel so uncomfortable that we abruptly left and now we don t even want to finish the 7 day free pass, let alone sign up. I get sales, if the customer goes home to think about it there is a good chance they won t be back. But that wasn t the case. We wanted to try a few more classes, make sure we could afford it before we committed. It s a big price jump considering the gym we currently go to is only $23/mo. In addition, we are all moms and need to coordinate schedules so we can go together. That can t be done on the spot. We were told that we needed help, we didn t look good, we weren t healthy. We were told we couldn t take time to think, we had to decide now or never. And then there were more insults. It was bad. It was over the top aggressive which is too bad because it totally ruined it for us.
