The food was good WHEN IT FINALLY CAME. I ordered a draft, 1/2 dozen crabs for the Mr. & Littles and the appetizers of the buffalo shrimp and stuffed mushrooms for myself... It took about 15 minutes for the crabs to arrive and my buffalo shrimp came shortly thereafter. After the Mr.'s request, the waiter came back to drop some butter and I reminded him of my beer and after he brought that back, I settled in to wait for my second plate.. HOWEVER the mushrooms I ordered never came! I ended up having to flag down the waiter to ask about them only to be told THE KITCHEN WAS OUT.... After waiting at LEAST 45 minutes for a simple app that never came, I was FAMISHED and ordered the cod dinner while my family occupied themselves at the dock because at this point they were finished with the crabs. The waiter never offered anything other an a "sorry" in acknowledgement of the inconvenience because of his lack of communication and when I mentioned the situation to a manager standing nearby he didn't step up to compensate for his employees lack of performance either. The fish dinner was well cooked but bland for cajun and although I was hungry as hell by that time, this meal wasn't worth the experience, inconvenience or wait...
