My family and I just got back from a 10 day stay. We have a 7 yo daughter. We all loved everything about the resort. Our room was one of the ones located closer to the water park and main pool, however every morning we found ourselves eating breakfast and then going straight to the beach! We would spend all day here. We rented a cabana on the EAST beach (more of a quiet smaller part of the beach). We had great service. We chose to do snorkel excursions and were never pressured or up sold on them. We asked about things and were informed of how excursions worked and pricing. We never felt like we needed to do it. The aquatic staff was by far amazing. We had a blast on the banana boat rides with Demetrius. We had unlimited daily hobbiecat rides with Alex and Dana, who taught myself and our daughter how to steer and sail it! We had amazing snorkel tours with Rojay and Sheldon almost daily. Livingston was great at giving advice on how to windsurf and he was my biggest cheerleader! Always telling me keep trying and that i would get up, and i DID (for a few moments, but i did).

The food was beyond our expectations as well as the service and drinks. We have been to all inclusive resorts as well as others and have kinda figured out that most people eat closer to the 7pm hour so we made sure we timed our lunches so that we were hungry and ready to sit down at 615 630 and there was NEVER a wait. By the time dinner was on the table at 715 we were hungry. My husband and I found getting drinks was easy and never had issues with lines or bad drinks. We felt the variety of food was spot on (for us). We went to each restaurant at least 3x and the buffet once for dinner. The portion sizes are spot on as well. Not to little(which we have had issues with other resorts in the past) and not to much so that you have half the dish leftover. We also loved that you can take your food to go anywhere! This was huge as we often did that in the morning and at lunch.

We didn't frequent the pools to often. We did visit the water park 1 hour before closing about 5 times during our stay. That was enough for us! There was never any lines to go down the slides. There was supervision at all times making sure no one got run over at the bottom of the slides. The slides are amazing i have to say. The main pool we stayed away from. It was to crowded for our taste. However there were a lot of people in there having fun and enjoying the swim up bar.

We also had tried the pool over by the creperia. That was lovely. It was quiet and small but just enough for a quick dip and head to the beach.

The nightly entertainment was great, especially for the kids. The kids program was from 6-625 just in time to grab our daughter for dinner.
The later entertainment didn't go on much past 930 which was fine since we were all wiped out. There was never any loudness or disruption for sleeping.

We loved our room and the trundle bed for our 7yo. The AC worked amazingly and was pleasant. There were no bad smells anywhere. The service overall ANYWHERE on the resort was always " how can i help you because you are on vacation, ya man". I love it and truly felt RELAXED!

There are always some downsides to all resorts, however there were none that I could find that had anything to do with the resort staff, food, drink facility or entertainment. The resort cannot control the weather, the bugs and bees, and it cannot control the actions of other visiting people. We did experience 3 weddings and a large family reunion. But honestly the weddings took up 30 min and a small section of the beach and you really didn't notice after that. We knew that there are a lot of weddings that happen here, we wish we had ours here 10 yeas ago!, but like i said it never put us out from still swimming or eating at any of the restaurants.

Therefore we were 100% satisfied and will be heading back on our fall break in October!

Thanks Beaches Ocho Rios!!!!
