I have taken both my Mercedes and Range Rover for service for a number of years. The last time I took my Mercedes for service was disappointing. During routine service my sunroof was checked-- the service person opened and closed it and the fabric ripped in the process. I rarely open it and it has never malfunctioned any way. I was told that because the car was just barely out of warranty the SB Auto Group would be generous and pay for the repair, which was quite expensive. I suppose if it had been a while out of warranty when THEY broke it I would be charged for the repair. I found this attitude off putting, to say the lest. I prefer dealing with people who take responsibility for what they do.
