I have done canoeing, kayaking and white-water rafting on various rivers dozens of times. Given its proximity to NY/Phil, the Lehigh is a great choice and there a few outfits in the area that do good work.

On our most recent trip, I took 13 BoyScouts on a rainy, spring "Dam Release" weekend (when the water moves and one is less likely to hung up on rocks) and we had a GREAT time.

The entire process, including the fairly-priced items at the snack bar and store, the cleanliness of the camp-site and other facilities, the obvious care and professionalism of the many staff, make me recommend Whitewater Challengers to anyone.

The process of camping, checking in, getting equipment, riding the buses, getting into the rafts was well thought out and ran well. A lot of preparation went into this River guides were skilled and professional . . . handling the various skill levels and ensuring we had fun, but were also safe (I've been on rivers before and Class III rapids can get crazy, very quickly).

Great value for the money and time. Good equipment and wonderful, caring staff. A well-run organization
