We heard about Le Cafe and finally had a chance to visit for Sunday brunch.
Firstly we enjoyed the staff who are mostly french and very passionate about sharing the cafe & their yummy fresh french food with us. Everything is very french so do not expect your standard egg benedict or pancakes, instead take the time to enjoy the delicious french food on offer. We started with a yummy danish and fresh croissant with jam and wonderful coffee. For brunch we all tried something different, my friend had Buckwheat crepe (GF), Filled with mushroom, spinach, prosciutto topped with goat cheese mousse, my husband had Oeuf cocotte, Soft baked egg, cauliflower velvet, button mushroom, baby spinach, French ham, toasted sourdough baguette and i had the Tomato and avocado bruschetta, Cherry tomato, fresh basil, avocado, balsamic reduction, Persian feta, poached egg served on toasted sourdough, we all really enjoyed our meals and before we realized it 2 hours had past, just the way a morning should be spent.
If you do not feel like a big brunch they also have a selection of yummy fresh baked treats. We look forward to heading back and trying one of the french dinner evenings!
