I am forced to amend my review of this dealership ...
I am forced to amend my review of this dealership based on my recent experience with the them. I had an issue with my power steering, and took the vehicle to them for diagnosis on Wednesday 18th instant; and accepted their offer of a rental car due to the fact that I am a disabled person. Later that same day I received a call and was informed that the problem was a defective power steering pump and it would cost $900.00+ to repair and it would take one day to execute the replacement. I gave my approval for them to undertake the repair with the understanding that I would have the vehicle back on Thursday 19th instant. Up to 3:00 pm and the Thursday, I had heard nothing from the dealership so I gave them a call and was unable to speak to anyone, ergo; I left a message; however I did not receive a call back. On Friday 20th instant, I received a call from the dealership representative who informed me that they had replaced the pump however; there was still an issue with the power steering and they had made the wrong diagnosis and it now required a new steering rack to fix the problem. I advised him that I was not in a position financially to have them replace the steering rack, however I had a new rack and if they were to install it for me I would cover the cost of the labor. I subsequently took the rack to them and they agreed to replace it. I left the dealership and went back home and no sooner arriving home I received a call from their representative that I needed to return as there was another issue with my vehicle. However, upon returning to the dealership it was discovered that the problem was not with my vehicle but another customer's vehicle. I was then persuaded to wait on my vehicle as the repairs were near completion. After approximately two hours I was told that my vehicle was ready and my bill was $1,600.00+ which means that they changed me $700.00+ to install the steering rack. And to add insult to injury, I received a call earlier today (Monday 23rd instant) from the rental car agency that I am required to pay them $80.00+ for rental of the vehicle for three days; despite the fact that it is the fault of the dealership why I had the vehicle for that length of time. I am an extremely disappointed and upset customer as I do not think I was treated in a fair and honest manner by the dealership and I will NOT be conducting any future business with them.
