Our stay at Sofitel was great. Everyone was SO nice, our room was mostly perfect (with the exception of some bugs that kept coming in the last two nights which was super annoying and the bathroom was small and water got everywhere) but we had a great ocean view room and the beds were comfortable. The Beach Club was the highlight of the hotel and our stay there; the servers were attentive and nice and the food and drinks were delicious. Amelia was exceptional and did a lot for us :) We didn't get the best initial information on the beach club on our arrival and had to ask for more information regarding it on our own but that's okay. Also, we thought we asked for a Shuttle to the airport on our last evening but the communication with that wasn't the best and there was a lot of confusion when we tried confirming when our shuttle would be taking us. But it got figured out. The staff there is really attentive and want to do their best at making things right if you have a problem. We didn't report the bug issue so that was our fault. The gym was good, especially at the beach club; outdoor and you get a private instructor! I highly recommend this hotel.
