The college campus is nice, however my personal experiences on the animal management course was far from it.

The course was awful. Everyone was stressed and the tutors kept leaving and when we got replacement tutors they would also end up leaving too. I must have gone through easily over 20 tutors over my time on the course.

Practicals are a chore rather than actually being a fun experience. This is due to the fact the keepers refuse to give the students choices in what animals they get to work with. This means students have to spend months cleaning out animals they are either uninterested in or scared of. Examples would be girls in my class who were terrified of insects, yet had to spend months in a room with spiders, ants and cockroaches freely roaming the invert room. Another example is my friend who loves fish being forced to work with farm animals constantly despite picking the exotics pathway.

Staff in general seem to fail to understand they are teaching in a college. Many act incredibly patronizing towards their students treating them as though they are children. I recall many times when a entire class of 18-20 year old students were patronized by tutors who seem more at home to be teaching in a high school than an actual college establishment.

Another issue is the discrimination within the course towards mental health issues. Students with depression, bipolar, etc being told to drop out if they can't cope instead of being given support to get through the year. Most students I knew suffering mental health issues dropped out because of the sheer lack of support the tutors gave.

Attendance to the Animal Management course is terrible as many students don't feel motivated to come in and learn because of the way they are treated. Our class even had someone come in to tell us that attendance is at an all time low and they know it's because nobody enjoys the course. They asked us what was wrong and when people told them they never did anything to fix the issues raised.

Overall I do not recommend this course for anyone unless they want to:
- Be working with farm animals endlessly.
- Be treated like a child by the tutors.
- Be waiting for hours for a tutor to show up for a lesson.
- Be exposed to a constant state of unorganized chaos.
- Be struggling to cope with stress and suicidal thoughts.
