Already a Mercedes owner, I began researching back in August. Settled on 2 different vehicles, the C300 coupe and the E400 coupe. Yesterday I ran across what could be the most beautiful car ever. So I inquired to ensure that it was still available. What luck, it wasI receive a response the next morning. Like most, I work nonstop. I politely respond via text that I am unavailable but will call once I m free. Later that day I called. I explained that I didn t have any questions because I already knew everything that there was to know. I let Malick know that I would be making a decision by this evening maybe in the morning at the latest. Malick said ok and that he looked forward to speaking with me. Then I received a text after I asked whether the price of the vehicle was negotiable stating that I would need to put down a deposit in order to apply for financing for this vehicle. Malick told me that if I wanted to purchase the car that couldn t simply apply for credit and be financed but that I would need to pay him $1000 in order to apply for the car. I spoke to another dealership where I have decided to instead take my business and they too were appalled. I am at a loss for words. Thanks but no thanks.
