The service, accommodation and dining was excellent. Every bit what we hoped it to be. The walks nearby were fantastic. We loved the river and peregrine walk to the homestead, a real highlight. We got to the homestead thinking there might be tea and scones on offer but we happily settled for a walk around the building and a relax in the chairs on the balcony (what a view) before walking on. Upon our return we headed straight to the public bar at the hotel for a well earned drink and bite to eat.
