Review Update: I'm deciding to update my review to share my experience. Naturally after leaving the original negative review and a negative review through the GM corporate online feedback, I received a couple of follow up calls from GM DJ. He said he would get the finance department to call me back to straightened everything out. He's also help me with the additional accessories I wanted. Well neither really happened. I called DJ back and forth a few times and could never get a good price from them on the running boards, instead another valley dealer gave me a even better deal than Gateway was willing to give me (remember I just bought a $41k car from Gateway and not the other dealer). So that was really disappointing. The finance team never called me, I never knew anything about my loan until I researched it all myself to figure it out. For a couple mailings and had questions about my loan that I ended up figuring out with the bank. WORST finance department ever. Called and left messages on at least 5 different attempts, never picks up, never returns messages, was basically lied to so they could close the deal, and worst of all does not care about the best interest of the consumer at all. I will never be coming back to Gateway ever again and will be sure to refer everyone away from them. I purchase quite a few cars and like Chevy, but never again from Gateway. Be warned, once the deal closes, you're on your own for everything. Gateway does not care about you after you sign the papers.

Ordinal Review: I bought a brand new 2019 Chevy Traverse here on the evening of Wed 8/1/2018. Got a good deal, but the follow up service is terrible. It's been a week and I haven't heard back on anything, since we closed the deal later, they said the banks were already closed and I'd have to wait, additionally the extras I wanted to add were after the parts department was closed and he'd give me a "great deal" and get back to me. I've messaged him multiple times with no response. When I was negotiating and trying to purchase the vehicle he was very good, but once you drive off the lot, they couldn't care less about you. To this day, I don't know the status of my loan, what my rate is or the loan term, etc. They said they would get with me "tomorrow", and yet it's been a week and I've tried to get with them to no response. Also, I'm not getting any of the accessories I wanted, let alone a "great deal". Additionally, I live in Chandler, so I drive 35 miles to come out for this car and might have to come back again for this, so I just wish they'd communicate. For buying a $40k+ car, you think they'd care about you a little more. So I can only imagine if you're buying a cheaper car with less profit margin. Very unsatisfied with the salesman after the sale.
