I advised the front desk the night before my departure that I couldn't set the time on the alarm clock, nor did the phone appear to be working (of which a $30 a day 'Resort fee' was applied for the privilege of free local and long distance calling, along with free water fills, and use of business centre and fitness center. None of which, ... okay maybe the water, was of any use as a tourist. Lesson learned...read the fine print when booking with Expedia). I was told by the front desk clerk that she would arrange a wake up call. On a phone that wasn't working I asked. Yes...she replied. I then downloaded an alarm app on my phone just to be safe. I did not get a wake up call from the front desk. I was on the 15th floor. The hallways were in very rough shape, dirty old paint, and the carpet was a tripping hazard with all the wrinkles. Room was clean and comfortable, but dated.
