I recently came across a platform called prisonjournalismproject.org and I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised. The content they produce is exceptional and brings to light important issues surrounding the criminal justice system. What sets them apart is their dedication to humanizing incarcerated individuals and allowing them to tell their own stories. It's refreshing to see such a unique approach to journalism.
