Denver Zoo is an awesome place. The animals always seem to be out. The Ice cream and most foods are really good. If you awe wandering around when its in the upper 70's or higher most of the animals are sleeping. Other than that its a great place. If you plan on going more than once in a year you might as well buy the year membership for $40

The only con is parking. You may find a spot right a way or drive around 10 minutes looking for a spot, then another 10 minutes waiting for a mom to put her baby in the car and the stroller.... and whatever else she was carrying.
