Dropped off our truck to get an oil change and war...
Dropped off our truck to get an oil change and warranty work done on 8-26. Told we couldn't get a loaner so we rented a car. On 8-27 they call my wife and said it's not covered by the warranty. (which I knew for fact it is a covered item) On 8-28 I call and talk to the service advisor. Told him how to present the problem to the warranty company. On 8-29 the warranty inspector comes out and says yes they will cover the break down. Days later On 9-2 at 11am I call to see why it's not done yet. Should have been a 3-4 hour repair. They said it's almost ready and they will call us. They close at 5pm today and we haven't received a call as of 4:15 so I call them. They said it was ready. Not sure why we didn't get a call. We pick it up. Warranty work done. No oil change. Told them forget it...... terrible at keeping customers updated..... sad that I had to tell the service advisor how to do his job...... I do not recommend this dealership for service work at all............................................... Update: It was nice to get a response from the manager of this dealership. We had a good conversation along with the service manager. Unfortunately what's done is done at this point but they did apologize and offer a free oil change. I do commend them for their efforts..... changing my stars from 1 to 3 for that.
