Dear people, based on product quality and service you do not have to knock on Whirlpool. After 2.5 years to use a freezer and maintain it regularly, this piece went on (one day with freezing, complete contents rot, +/- 5 kilos of meat can be thrown away). Then contacted Whirlpool; the answer is simple; if the technician can demonstrate that you have not defrosted at least every 6 months -> PECH <- then you can have the device repaired for almost 40% of the purchase value (150 euro). And if you choose not to have it repaired you will have to pay 70 euros (!!!!) in advance costs.
