Very rude staff. Always rushing you out!!! We got there ONE HOUR AND 15MIN before closing time on Thursday for a drink and the guy behind the bar told us aggressively that he s only serving the last round now, as they re shutting soon. (He told us this at 9.45pm , when they close at 11pm)
Then he started to aggressively tidy up around us when we were sitting down , as to hint us to leave !
Then he turned off the lights and dashed out as soon as we exited the door! We just felt so unwelcome and pushed out! So we decided to go RED LION instead where we were treated so nicely , eventhough they were closing in 30 min.
The same man has done it before when I went there during the day for lunch. Always huffing and buffing as we were placing the order, and told me to hurry up.
The pub is nice but you just feel uncomfortable with the way you are being treated.
