Audra Turner Review of Prestman Auto

There are some pro's to buying with Prestman Auto BUT also some con's.
Pro's
You get a branded title car but you save some money.
The test drive experience was easy and the financing piece was quick.
They have massage chairs to sit in while waiting to sign for the car.
The place is clean and the salesmen aren't pushy.
They washed the car I purchased.
Con's
There are hidden fee's though that buyers should be aware of that you don't find out about until after you have figured out financing and then sit down the the guy in the office to sign the papers to purchase the car. You must add these fees to the price posted for the car:
$299 for an auto theft tracker. They just tell you it's a "Prestman Auto thing." Well, if so, I feel it should be included in the sticker price of the car because I didn't ask for it. Honestly, it's probably so they can track the car if it gets stolen off of their lot, but in the end, I paid for it.
$192 for inspection fees. When you are looking at the car, they tell you how many times it has been inspected to make you feel good about buying a branded title car and then you realize later you get to pay for all of those inspections. Again, it should really be part of the posted cost of the car.
There were a few other questionable fees that IF you bought a warranty, they would take off.
It just seems like "hidden fees" are so 10 years ago that was a little disappointing.
As we left the dealership building to get to our newly purchased car, we were handed one key fob. We asked for the other and they said that all of their cars only come with one because they buy them at the auction. They gave me a business card of a guy who could make one for me. So there is more money and valuable time.
Finally, I drove my newly purchased car off the lot and made it 20 miles down the road and the gas light came on! I seriously had to stop and get gas before I got home.
Needless to say by the time I pulled in my driveway, I wasn't very impressed anymore.
