Leased a brand new Mercedes GLS450 from here. The Benz star is supposed to light up, but it did not. We were very understanding and accommodating. They told us to wait for 30-45 minutes for them to fix it, but it took them almost 6 hours. We had to pay for three Uber trips to go back and forth, not to mention wasted time.

What s most annoying is we were told to pick up the car at 2:30 pm today, but did not get it until 2:50 pm. As a result, we were late to pick up our son.

The front desk service guy was not helpful at all. He just kept telling us that the car was coming in a minute and told us to be patient as if it were our fault. The lady in the service department never answered her phone and disappeared while we were waiting there. Only re-emerged when the car was coming up.

I am so disappointed. Mercedes, you should do better!

1. Illuminated star option not installed in factory, not detected after so many rounds of quality control and inspections;
2. Dragging and lack of communication. At very beginning (around 9am) i was told it can be done in 30-45 minutes, then no response to message, never answered call. Waited for 2 hours and got notified that it would take longer but definitely could be done before 2:30pm.
3. Went to pick up my car and sent a message around 2:15 and got a reply that not ready yet .
4. Arrived on 2:30pm sharp and she told me it was just completed and asked front desk to pick up the car.
5. Me Connect app did not show engine started until around 2:50pm. Within the 20 min, front desk just dismissed us by saying it will be ready in a minute . If the engine was not started, how could a valet magically move the car? What were happening during these 20 mins?
6. Attitude is the key problem. No timely communication. Not showing any sign of apology or empathy.
