Richard Redman Review of The Able Group

Absolute comedy outfit. I wish I'd read reviews before employing their services. I was promised a replacement glass door panel 'Friday or Saturday this week' because I need the job done before Sunday, and paid a deposit on the basis of that promise. At 11am on Friday I had to chase them, not knowing when a glazier is going to turn up at my property. The excuse that I was given was literally "The supplier forgot", and the customer service rep delivering this news seemed to find it funny.
This brings me onto the issue of their customer service in general. After being told that their promise had been broken, I was given a lecture on the 'global' turnaround time of reinforced glass, and that other companies wouldn't be any quicker. The rep tried to shout (yes, shout) over me during the conversation. She came out with pearls of wisdom such as "what can I do if another human adult has told me they can't do something" referring to the supplier. She had no concept of the fact I don't care who the supplier is, who any third party is: my relationship is with Able Group. Well, it *was* with Able Group. As you can imagine, my faith had long been lost in this company, so I have asked for a refund and will keep on top of them until it is paid back in full.
I actually wouldn't have asked for the refund if the woman I spoke to on the phone (in the ordering department) was more understanding and, god forbid, polite.
