The experience was exquisite.
The walk from our parking spot in the garage to the lobby was less than a minute. The line to check in was short, and the gentleman who assisted us could not have been more agreeable. We were offered upgrades at an additional cost, but the Canadian dollar being worth what it is, we declined.
Our room was gorgeous, spacious, airy and tastefully decorated (these adjectives can be applied to the Encore itself). The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and I loved the oversized pillows. The room was cleaned well every day.
I am not much of a gambler, but my husband is, so I spend a lot of time in casinos. The Encore and Wynn casinos are among my favourite: bright and fresh, and a pleasure to the eyes. My husband had no luck gambling, but that was true throughout Vegas. (Now Reno, that is THE place to gamble).
We had never before stayed at the Encore (or Wynn) because, again, the Canadian dollar has made staying prohibitively expensive. We splurged this trip to celebrate my husband's birthday, and were glad that we did. (We are looking forward to our next special occasion for another stay).
