Booked a staycation (2 adults and 2 kids) to celebrate wedding anniversary and birthday. We got a kids safari package (deluxe room). We were told that we needed to change room type to a suite to house a tent(part of the kids package) and a crib(for baby) prior to booking. Hence we went ahead and paid for a suite.
Upon checking in, we were pleased to know that we have been upgraded from suite (premier) to another suite (i believe was the millenia suite) due to the celebrations. The room was definitely the highlight of the entire staycation. Spacious, high level(27th) with magnificent view of marina bay, equipped with a huge tent for my girl. The room was beyond our expectation. Hand sanitisers and masks were also provided in the room.
Reservation has to be made to use the pool. We emailed the hotel before our staycation to find out more about the reservation and got a pool slot before checking in. We had the pool to ourselves and my kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Eva, the lady attending to us at the pool was really attentive and took the initiative to help us with a family photo. She was also seen sanitising the surfaces around the pool in her free time.
Breakfast was served to the room. We chose American breakfast and had a delicious spread. Hannah, the lady who served the food to our room, brightened up our morning with her warm welcome and greetings. She had a good rapport with my kids and would asked if we needed anything else. She volunteered to call for room service for us and told us about the pool floats that were made available for the guests in the hotel.
We had an enjoyable stay at Ritz-Carlton. It will definitely be on our to-go list for a celebratory staycation. (Price is a factor still :p) Nonetheless, we recommend this hotel for those who have some spare cash to spend as an alternative to travelling overseas.
