Had a meal here today and two of the meals were terrible. I was in two minds whether to have the cheese pie or not, so so glad I didn't. My sister in law had the cheese pie, and when it was put on the table i had my doubts about it because it looked so bad, and with the sweet potato fries that were with it. She had a very small amount but two thirds of it couldn't even be cut into because the whole thing was so old and hard, she knocked it on the plate and it sounded like a piece of wood.
In my opinion, any chef who sends old food out in that condition should be looking for alternative employment in another field.
My wife had a steak meal, left most of the fries and half the steak for the same reason. They did apologize and didn't charge for the two meals but very sorry, we definitely won't be back. When we first went into the pub, we did comment on why there was vertually no one in, now we know why.
