The customer service is just as bad as the mess they sell.
After having decorated our whole kitchen with four machines from bauknecht, the misery started. We have an extra guarantee (for what you can call warranty), because we bought 4 devices.
The fridge:
The door is difficult to close and then does not close properly, the entire rear is frozen with an inch of ice.
The dishwasher:
Door is difficult to close, and then water leaks on the floor. The dishes can sometimes be re-done by hand and as a slap on the fire, the PCB will die. The dishwasher has already been replaced by a loyal Siemens (highly recommended!)
Coffee machine:
The employer would be happy with it. The coffee is not at temperature and gives half a cup. After a few half cups, the coffee bean grinder was stuck. The mechanic came along, obviously anti-social costs that we had to pay. Mechanic came to conclude that a piece of plastic that had the same color as the machine had come out of a sack of beans.
These are a few examples of our experience with bauknecht / whirlpool.
After a lot of bullshit, contact the customer service. Customer service or his nose bleeds is not friendly and can only read from a book, but in that book is not the word leniency. I can understand their mood a little bit if they also get worthless coffee from a bauknecht device. I can almost furnish a kitchen with Siemens appliances from the call-out costs.
Do not do business with these guys!
