We used Piragis' full outfitting and jump start guide service packages for a trip to the Boundary waters from Oct. 6-9. Although we were a bit worried about the temperatures, the equipment they provided (tent, sleeping mats, sleeping bags, etc.) was perfect for the weather. The sleeping bags were especially nice and the food selection didn't disappoint! It was fun roasting marshmallows, trying out some of the freeze dried dinners (quite yummy!) and also eating steaks fresh off the fire.
It was our first time at the BWCAW and the jump start guide service was perfect for us to help set up the first camp, give some tips on canoeing technique, and give us ideas for where to go during our stay.
We're very happy, give two enthusiastic thumbs up, and hope to be back in the future. Thanks guys!
